COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – The City of Naples is getting into the holiday spirit! Their Christmas parade is set to begin Tuesday night.
It kicks off on Broad Avenue South at 6 p.m. and will end around 8 p.m.
There will be floats, fire engines, school groups, bands, dance troupes, boy and girl scouts and civic groups that will be walking their way along the route. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance to conclude the parade.
The parade route will be from Broad Avenue South to 3rd Street South, proceeding north to 5th Avenue South, east on 5th Avenue South, and South on 8th Street South past City Hall, ending at 8th Avenue South and 8th Street South.
Roads will be closed starting around 3:30pm and Naples Police expects to have them reopened by 9pm.
Closed roads include:
-5th Ave. S from 9th St. to 2nd St.
-3rd St. from 5th Ave. S to Broad Ave. S
-8th St. from 8th Ave. S to 5th Ave. S
-All roads should be re-opened by 10pm.
Attendees are asked to use the two city parking garages and perimeter parking around Cambier Park.
