Developing overnight, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated battery involving a firearm that occurred on the 3800 block of 3rd Street W in Lehigh Acres.
LCSO says the incident was domestic in nature with one party involved being transported to an area hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office adds that scene remains active as their Violent Crime's Unit Detectives continue their investigation.
