LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a scene near the Lehigh Acres Mcdonalds on Homestead Road on Monday night.
The medicall call came from inside of that location.

The Sheriff's office said in a post on X, that Deputies found one man with a non-life threatening puncture wound to the stomach area.
Deputies responded to a medical call inside McDonalds on Homestead Rd. in Lehigh overnight. Upon arrival, they encountered an adult male with what appeared to be a non life threatening puncture wound to his abdomen.

The office said there is no ongoing threat to the public. Mcdonalds was not involved in the incident. And that deputies with the Violent Crimes Unit are still gathering additional information.
The investigation is still active.
The subject was transported to an area hospital and is expected to make a recovery.
