CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A spooky Halloween staple in Southwest Florida will go on!
Over the weekend, dozens of volunteers showed up to Spooky Alley in Cape Coral to help modify the attraction to meet city codes.
The family posted pictures of the efforts on Facebook.
Last week, the city threatened to shut the family-run attraction down, saying they found several violations, including "the presence of electrical lines in standing water, multiple junction boxes and other electrical issues, and also temporary corrugated metal roof panels."
The family posted on Facebook that the spooky alley will go on, albeit a scaled down version.
