Lee Health's 38th Annual Turkey Trot in Cape Coral benefits two Lee County programs that promote and reward healthy living and awareness.
Beginning at 7:30 Thursday morning at the Wellness Center of Cape Coral, registered participants can enjoy a 5K walk or run, one mile fun run at 8:45 a.m. and the Tot Trot at 9:15 a.m.
They'll also have plenty of food and drinks, a free photo booth, free race day photos and tech t-shirts.
The Fort Myers Track Club pledged $50,000 to help build the Wellness path at the Cape Coral Hospital as part of the Pathway to Discovery. Additional money made Thursday morning will go to the Fort Myers Track Club Youth and Scholarship Programs.
