Sounds of Summer at the SBD Art Center

Fort Myers, FL - The Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center presents The Sounds of Summer, featuring Sheena Brook and Melissa Lee. Though considered a Country Singer/Songwriter, Sheena Brook has created her own sound by playing all types of genres. With her quick wit and ability to connect and interact with her audience. A Southwest Florida Native, Sheena Brook has a laid back style with an energetic and inviting vibe. Melissa Lee is a Country Music superstar on the rise. Her music is contemporary country that is highly influenced by pop and classic rock. She has the persistence, determination, and energy that will lead her to the top.

Tribute to The Rocket Man: Elton John

Bonita Springs, FL - At the Centers for the Arts in Bonita Springs, Rus Anderson will recreate the magic of a young Elton John like no other. Storming around the stage with a fun-loving sense of flamboyance; part diva, part soccer player, killer vocalist, fierce piano player, all rock & roller. The performance itself is an extremely sincere, intense & visual spectacle. There are ballads & driving rock songs. Audiences will laugh, cry, sing & dance as they recall the highs & lows of Elton's epic career. It is clearly the most authentic Elton John tribute show in the world.

Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary Family Fun Day

Naples, FL - Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary will be hosting their first ever Family Fun day! There will be snakes, alligators, and other critters available for children to see and meet up close. The Children's Museum of Naples will also be there as well as the North Naples Fire Department with their firetruck. Crafts will be available for the children to make and a guided boardwalk tour is scheduled for families to take to explore the swamp.

Naples Hurricane Awareness Picnic in The Park

Naples, FL - Naples Wings Of Hope will be hosting a Hurricane Awareness Family Picnic In The Park at Sugden Park! This will be the must-attend event for hurricane awareness in Naples. Free hurricane supply kits will be given out to those in need as well as information packets. Guest speakers from the media, weather, police and fire departments will be on site to talk about the latest information regarding this hurricane season. There will also be swimming, horseshoes, fishing and volleyball. Please bring a covered dish to share with your neighbors and blankets an chairs  This is a free to attend event; please bring blankets or chairs to sit on.
