Sanibel, FL - The Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), will be holding their 36th Annual Taste of the Island Event on Sunday, November 12th 2017
Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank has returned as the Presenting Sponsor of the 36th Taste of the Islands. For nearly five decades, CROW’s wildlife rehabilitation services have helped native and migratory birds and animals in Southwest Florida.
The event will showcase 14 Sanibel and Captiva restaurants. “We have an amazing line-up of restaurants this year” says Linda Estep, Executive Director for CROW. “There will be some very delicious dishes being served.” The restaurants will offer a mouth-watering array of menu items for six CROW Bucks or less while competing for honors in a variety of categories including “Best Appetizer”, “Best Seafood” and “Taste of the Taste”. Attendees of the Taste cast ballots to decide the winner of the coveted “People’s Choice” award. Admission to Taste of the Islands, which can be purchased online or at the event, is $7 for adults and free for children less than 12 years of age. This year’s family friendly event also features live entertainment by LCEC’s Killa-Watts, and in the Sanibel Community House guests can meet CROW’s Animal Ambassadors and bid on Silent Auction items.
Event day and time: Sunday, November 12th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
