Lee County appreciation night Thursday at Fair at Fenway South

Fair at Fenway South is offering free admission Thursday for all Lee County employees, school district employees, law enforcement, fire and rescue, first responders and their families to thank them for their hard work during hurricane Irma.

Lee County Appreciation night goes from 5 to 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

On Friday, the fair will be open from 5 to 11:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, the fun begins goes from 1 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

New to the fair this year is an all new Pirates of the Caribbean Show where pirates walk a wire plank. They can also hop on a new water flume ride and get the Grizzly Bear Experience.

The fair will also have an award-winning illusionist, Las Vegas hypnotist, petting zoo, many other rides and food.

According to fair organizer, Brian Schuman, they will be welcoming any county organization that is interested in a location at the fair for hurricane relief donations. For more information, contact Jeff Bolonski at 813-677-0121.

Admission for everyone else on Thursday is $1. Other admission prices start at $4.
