Goodwill's 11th annual Festival of Trees begins

Goodwill's 11th Annual Festival of Trees kicks off Wednesday, November 29th at 11 a.m. with Christmas contests, activities, food and games as part of their largest fundraiser of the year.

Here's what's going on Wednesday through Sunday:

Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., they'll have an ugly sweater contest and party with snacks, drinks and Christmas sweaters hosted by Bury Me Brewing Company. A panel of celebrity judges will pick the most hideous holiday garb. To register click, here or call (239)652-1613.

Thursday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. From 7 to 9 p.m., painting with a purpose begins. It comes with instructions, so no experience is needed. Register at the link or number above.

Friday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. From 6 to 10 p.m., it's the Art Walk and Holiday Stroll with a concert on the steps of the Sidney and Berne Art Center. No tickets are required.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. is Santa's block party with a children's workshop, holiday vendor showcase, festival of trees and bingo with a twist. Tickets and information are available, here.

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the Christmas tree raffle drawing. Sunday is the last day to get tickets for the raffle to win a tree filled with gifts. They will draw the winning tickets at 2 p.m.

The fundraiser is located at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center at 3202 First Street in Fort Myers River District.
