Lee County Domestic Animal Services recently launched its new foster-to-adopt program allowing more opportunity to see if a dog is a good fit before committing to adoption.

You can fill out an application at the adoption center Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Once the application is approved, you can go to the adoption floor and meet your potential new family member. The adoption fee is $50.

If the dog isn't the perfect fit, you will be given the option to select another dog that may be a better fit.

Domestic Animal Services is located at 5600 Banner Drive in Fort Myers. You can search through their adoptable pets, here.
