SANIBEL, Fla.-- The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, also known as CROW, has released a female Loggerhead Sea Turtle at the Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel.

Kemp's Ridley sea turtle found nesting on Sanibel Beach

The sea turtle came to CROW at the end of February, when it was found floating near the Sanibel Causeway. The female turtle had red tide poisoning and anemia.

After nearly two months of treatment and rehabilitation, veterinarians deemed the reptile healthy enough to go back to the wild.

These pictures were posted to CROW's Facebook page after the loggerhead sea turtle's release.
