CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Police say a woman is now dead after a head-on collision.
It happened Saturday at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Peachland and Loveland Boulevards.
Two vehicles were traveling on Peachland Boulevard when one driver veered into the eastbound lane and traveled directly into the path of the second oncoming vehicle.
Police say 22-year-old Taylor Jewitt was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash.
