2 hurt in charter bus crash carrying children

Two people are injured after a charter bus crash carrying 50 children, Friday.

A 2002 Toyota Salara traveling east on the center lane of Daniels parkway ran a red light and collided with a charter bus, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The bus was carrying 50 students and four adults from Indian Ridge Middle School of Davie Florida.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota were transferred to Gulfcoast Medical Center.

Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor in this crash.
