LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Jimmy Rodgers is now in the Lee County Jail after being released from prison in Illinois.  He's one of the men accused in the murder of Bonita Springs doctor Teresa Sievers last year.

Fox 4 spoke with prison staffers in Illinois Tuesday morning, and they confirm that Rodgers is no longer in prison there. They couldn't confirm his exact location, or if the extradition process to Southwest Florida was underway.

Rodgers wrapped up a six-month probation sentence Monday on an unrelated charge, and was booked into the Lee County Jail Tuesday morning.

A witness claims Dr. Sievers'  husband, Mark Sievers -- who has not been charged -- paid Rodgers and Curtis Wayne Wright last summer to kill his wife for life insurance money.

Wright was arrested in October and also sits in the Lee County jail on 2nd Degree Murder charges.
