CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Now this is what being In Your Corner is all about! Fox 4 photographer Dan Ayres is being hailed a hero after lending a helping hand to a Cape Coral man whose lawnmower caught fire Thursday afternoon.
Dan spotting the situation on Northeast 2nd Avenue after finishing up working on a story.
The man tried throwing dirt on the fire, but that didn't work. So Dan stepped in, jumping fences to get a hose from a neighbor's yard. Problem was, the hose didn't extend far enough.
So the neighbor quickly gave Dan a fire extinguisher. And with only one blast left, Dan saved the day!
Way to go, Dan!
