CAPE CORAL, Fla.- New graphic details have been revealed concerning a Cape Coral man accused of brutally murdering his own father and hiding the evidence. Matthew Marshall remains behind bars charged with second degree murder in the death of his father, Rick Marshall.

Matthew is accused of mutilating his dad's body back in February and then hiding parts of his body near the condo they shared.

As detectives keep searching for the remaining parts of his father's body, Matthew's arrest warrant reveals detectives found Rick Marshall's torso wrapped up in a top sheet matching a sheet found on Matthew's futon inside the condo he shared with his father. Then, a Cape Coral couple noticed vultures in their back yard and a suitcase floating along the murky canal.

When the suitcase was opened, an arm, two thighs and two lower legs were found inside packed in dirt.

According to the report, the cuts were "neat and surgical in nature" indicating capabilities of someone who was experienced to detach bones by cutting around the knee joint after dislocating them but leaving no stab or defense wounds behind.

Detectives on the case tell Four In Your Corner that this case has been very forensically based and labor intensive.

This investigation now raises questions about whether the person who committed this surgical crime had experience doing it before.
