A drier and more comfortable air mass greets us into the new work week across SWFL.
After a cool and crisp start this morning, temperatures will find their way into the low 80s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be breezy out of the ENE at 10-15 with gusts of 20 mph at times. Outside of a stray sprinkle, most areas will stay dry Monday.
A dominant high pressure over the region will continue the set up of cool mornings and pleasant afternoons for much of the week with humidity gradually increasing by the end of the week. Much of the week will also feature quiet weather with rain staying out of the forecast through Thursday. By Friday, a cold front will be approaching the area, increasing rain chances for SWFL through the first half of the weekend.
