NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A fatal pedestrian collision in North Fort Myers led to overnight road closures.
All roads have reopened along Bayshore Road near Euclid Avenue after the crash that happened at 10:46 PM Thursday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the victim, 83-year-old Genevieve Williams, was crossing Bayshore Road from north to south. While she was crossing the eastbound lanes, a Ford pickup truck struck and killed Williams.
No word yet on whether charges will be filed.
