LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The wife of Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine made a campaign stop in Southwest Florida Monday.
Anne Holton spoke to teachers at an education forum in Buckingham. She says if Hillary Clinton is elected, public education will be a top priority.
Holton said she was disappointed to hear about low teacher salaries in the Sunshine State, and too many standardized tests.
She said a Clinton administration would help college students, especially young teachers, pay off loans faster.
