An arrest has been made following a fatal crash that occurred in July at the intersection of Stringfellow Road and Marina Road
Fifty-seven-year-old Brenda Lynn Green was taken to the Lee County Jail Sunday morning.
Her charges include three counts of Property Damage and DUI Manslaughter in the death of sixty-two-year-old Diane Frazee Luther, according to police reports.
Police say that on July 15th, 2016, Green was driving a 2013 Kia Rio north of Stringfellow Road when she ran off the roadway. Green then struck a culvert and went airborne. The vehicle landed north of Marina Road and hit Luther who was walking on the sidewalk.
Green suffered minor injuries and was taken to Cape Coral Hospital.
The pedestrian, Luther was pronounced dead at the scene.
