A Boca Raton woman was arrested after repeatedly calling 911 operators regarding her missing vehicle, according to the Boca Raton Police Department.

Officials  say 46-year-old Lisa Makris made 8 calls to the 911 phone line. Boca Raton police dispatch said Makris stated she thought she blacked out earlier in the evening from alcohol and was unsure where her car was located.

According to police, Makris was advised several times that she should not be calling 911 continuously unless she had an emergency.

Officers arrived at Makris' residence and found the apartment door was left open. After knocking at the door several times and no answer police entered the residence and found Makris lying in bed.

She told police she used her inactivated phone in order to call 911 because that was the only number her phone would call and that she didn't know where her car was. She then said that calling 911 was not a 'big deal.'

Makris was placed into handcuffs and transported to the Boca Raton Police Department . She was then transported to the Palm Beach County Jail without incident due to her level of intoxication, police said.
