LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Lehigh Acres man accused of shooting and killing both his wife and neighbor on Saturday night is now being held on more than $1 million bond.

47-year-old Placido Moreno-Torres is facing two counts of second-degree murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He's also banned from having contact with the family of the victims.

Deputies say he was arguing with his wife Amparo in their driveway when things turned violent. And when their neighbor, Ricardo Vaca, tried to break up the fight, Moreno-Torres reportedly shot and killed both of them.

He's due back in court July 18th.
