BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Bonita Springs elected a new mayor Tuesday night.
Voters deciding on Peter Simmons with 51% of the vote over opponents Stephen McIntosh and Rick Steinmeyer.
Current mayor Ben Nelson did not seek Reelection.
Simmons has been serving as a Bonita Springs Councilman for the past four years.
