LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Bonita Springs man is behind bars after an undercover detectives says the man shared child pornography with him.
47-year-old Kevin Provenzano is facing 10 counts of Obscene Material Possession and 5 counts of Cruelty Towards a Child.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, last month a sergeant with the Innocent Images Unit connected to a file-sharing network as an undercover agent. Some of the files downloaded were deemed to be child pornography, and were linked to Provenzano's condo in The Gardens complex off E. Terry Street in Bonita Springs.
A search warrant was served at the condo on February 22nd and resulted in the seizure of Provenzano's cell phone. Later examination of the phone revealed approximately 200 images of children engaging in sex acts.
Detectives arrested Provenzano on March 8th and transported him to Lee County Jail.
