Firefighters are battling a brush fire in Northern Collier County that is threatening homes in the area.
The fire started around noon Tuesday at 760 14th Avenue NW. Firefighters from the North Collier Fire and Rescue District responded to battle the flames.
The fire is reported to be roughly 4 acres and is threatening homes and out buildings.
The fire is not yet contained as winds are causing the flames to flare up. So far, no reports of any injuries.
