A Southwest Florida woman is at a loss for words as she tells FOX 4 a Lehigh Acres mother got involved in a teenager's fight involving her daughter.

She says the woman hit her daughter after breaking up a fight between two teens and then maced students on the bus.

A spokesperson with the Lee County School District says the mother involved in the teen fight "barreled" herself on to the bus as other students were boarding. Six students were taken to the emergency room and five were treated after being sprayed with mace.

"We've looking at video and taking statements all day for the student discipline side of the issue and we're certain that law enforcement has been working on this all day long," the spokesperson said.

FOX 4 requested the bus video showing the fight and the mother's interaction, but the spokesperson with the district says the video is considered to be part of the students permanent record file, meaning  the "rare incident" won't be available.

"We had 850 buses on the road this morning, we had 60 thousand bus riders on buses this morning, and we had one parent and a handful of students that behaved very badly."
