CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral dad is accused of punching his daughter over a disagreement she had with a teacher.
According to a police report, 40-year-old Michael Santo is accused of shouting derogatory slurs at his 14-year-old daughter during a car-ride Saturday while repeatedly punching her in the face, leaving her swollen and bruised.
Police say Santo was angry with her over a disagreement she had with a teacher in class the day before.
He is now charged with child cruelty.
