CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The Cape Coral Police Department continues to investigate threats of violence that canceled a high school game on Friday.

The principal sent a notice to parents and students in regards of the change.

Their game at Port Charlotte High School is now scheduled to Monday at 7:30 p.m.

A spokesperson at the school says the tension between students at the school led to threats of violence at the game.

Police and the school administration are looking into the threats to see if they were legitimate.
