CAPE CORAL, Fla-- Two Cape Coral kids are giving up their Christmas to help victims of the Tennessee Fires. Emmah & Nathan's Disaster Relief Toy Drive has placed donation boxes in businesses throughout the area as well as a big, blue bus outside of Sonny's BBQ in Cape Coral to collect items.

Some of the hundreds of items already donated include "Clothes, shoes, flip-flops," said Emmah Moore.

Emmah is a second grader who was recently watching TV with her mom, Amber, when she asked how Santa would be able to deliver presents to those displaced by the fires.

"And I didn't have an answer," said Amber Moore.

So the family brainstormed and decided to forgo their Christmas this year to help others. The family arranged a toy drive with boxes throughout 7/11 stores in Cape Coral and on Sunday had a blue bus outside Sonny's BBQ collecting items.

You can also drop off items at Starbucks and Pioneer Printing on 47th Terrace in Cape Coral.

The family said they will continue to collect gifts until December 23rd. They then plan to rent a truck and drive the gifts to Tennessee on Christmas.
