CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral Police Detectives are asking for the public's help identifying a burglary suspect.
On May 4. Cape Coral Police were dispatched to NE Juanita Court where the burglary was in progress.
The victim stated he walked into the garage and saw an unknown white male (possibly Hispanic) in his garage. There was a brief conversation when the homeowner noticed his Craftsman backpack left blower was in the backseat of the unknown male's car. Once confronted about the leaf blower, the victim stated the male got into his newer model grey Nissan car (possible first two digits of Florida tag being "96" or "69") and headed northbound on NE Juanita Court in an attempt to flee the neighborhood.
The victim got into this own vehicle to find the unknown male, and said he last saw the grey Nissan going westbound on NE 6th Street at a high rate of speed.
