CAPE CORAL, Fla. (UPDATE) -- Christopher Valdez has been found safe, all lookouts are canceled at this time.
CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Cape Coral Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing endangered 23-year-old man.
Christopher Valdez was reported missing around midnight. He was last seen leaving the Salvation Army homeless shelter in Fort Myers off Ortiz Avenue on Tuesday. Police say once he left the homeless shelter, he called family and made suicidal threats.
Valdez is described as 6 feet tall with brown hair, blue eyes, and "scruffy" facial hair. He was last seen wearing black basketball shorts, a beige shirt and a silver backpack.
