UPDATE (5/4) -- Cape Coral Police have confirmed that Sadara has been located and is safe.

CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral police are on the search for a missing 14-year-old girl.
On Tuesday at approximately 3:08 PM, the Cape Coral Police Department received a report in reference to a runaway juvenile.
Sadara Vanessa Ruiter, a 14-year-old white female approximately 5'5", 125 lbs with long brown hair and hazel eyes, was last seen in the area of 1900 SE 4th Street in Cape Coral. She left in an unknown direction of travel on foot carrying a light blue back pack.
Ruiter was wearing a seafoam green t-shirt, blue skinny jeans and white Converse sneakers. She has a scar above her right eye that runs downward toward her nose; she also has scars on her wrists and legs.
There are concerns for Ruiter's safety as she has refused to take her prescribed medications and may be a threat to herself. She had been entered as a missing endangered juvenile due to these reported concerns.
