CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- City leaders will vote on Monday about whether to continue pursing plans to add restaurants, shops and entertainment spots in Southwest Florida's largest city.
Cape Coral city leaders will be discussing what to do with the Bimini Basin, located off Cape Coral Parkway by Four Freedoms Park.
City leaders are also considering expanding the project into nearby communities. They're now talking about changing the future land use designations for areas just north of Southeast 47th Terrace.
Right now, most of that land is zone for multi-family residential use. But if the state approves the idea, it could also be mixed with downtown development.
