CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have arrested a man they say brought a 15-year-old girl to Fort Myers and hid out in the woods with her and had sex with her.

19-year-old Ronald Dampier has been charged with four counts of Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a victim under 16, and one count of Interference with Custody of a Minor.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the teen was reported missing last week from the Port Charlotte area and was determined to be a missing/runaway juvenile after attempts to locate her were unsuccessful.

On Monday, online postings from the girl indicated that she was in Fort Myers and that Dampier had kidnapped her.  She asked for help from friends to "save" her.

Searches of the area she mentioned were unsuccessful.

Tuesday, a detective in Fort Myers located the two and took custody of the girl.

She later told detectives that she and Dampier were on the run together and residing in the woods in Port Charlotte.  She said Dampier would force her to drink Four Loco's and alcohol, and believed that he would put narcotics in the drinks because she would pass out.  We she woke, she was in pain and claims Dampier said he had sex with her several times the night before.

She says the two were given a ride to Fort Myers, where they stayed behind an abandoned building and more unwanted sexual activity occurred.

Dampier's conversation with investigators was not made available to the public, but he reportedly showed no remorse, and laughed and bragged about the events.

Dampier was arrested and is currently in the Charlotte County Jail on $155,000 bond.
