CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Charlotte Country Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death of a 3 ½ month old male baby who was found to be unresponsive at approximately 7:00 am Saturday.
Members of this Agency responded to the 1800 block of Bluebird Lane, Englewood on this date regarding an infant male who was not breathing.
Attending Deputies performed CPR on the infant until EMS personnel arrived.
The infant was transported to Englewood Hospital E.R. where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This death is not believed to be suspicious at this time, however the investigation is ongoing. Further information will be relayed as it becomes available.
