NAPLES, Fla.-- Thousands of people were at the Collier County Fairgrounds on Sunday for a Donald Trump rally. The event didn't start until 6 p.m. but that didn't stop people from lining up as early as 8 a.m.

"We got here before all these police cars and before anyone else, we are the first ones here," said Trump supporter Ralph Nepolitano.

As more people started lining up, several people would start group chants. However, others were letting their costumes and outfits speak for themselves. Among the thousands of Trump supporters, several protestors were also in attendance.

"I just want to let all the Trumpies know what he said in that Access Hollywood bus," said protestor Bob Welsh.

Trump supporters said despite the controversies,

"We are not voting for a Pope, we are voting for someone to lead our country," said Naples resident Ruth Juster.

Many people who attended the rally said they were heading to Tampa to attend Trump's rally at 7 p.m. Monday night.
