LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Rescue crews are responding to a report of a boat taking on water with six people aboard it in Captiva Pass.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the boat was said to be taking on water near Upper Captiva Pass and another nearby boat came to their rescue within minutes.
There are no reported injuries.
FWC, Cape Coral Police, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Coast Guard at the scene.
Captiva Pass is between the islands of Cayo Costa and North Captiva.
