LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A worker on a Bonita Springs construction site was stuck by lightning Monday, and later died from the strike.
It happened shortly before 3:30pm on Renaissance Boulevard, which is off U.S. 41 south of Pelican Colony Boulevard.
First responders attempted to help with CPR before the worker was sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to Bonita Fire Rescue, the man's body had entry and exit wounds.
