CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County has passed a resolution, effective immediately, relating to public health.

The resolution directs people in certain public places throughout unincorporated Charlotte County to wear facial coverings where social distancing is not possible to minimize the spread of Covid-19.

The decision comes after commissioners decided not to mandate the use of masks last week.

The full resolution can be found here.

Commissioners also have a sign business can hang available.
