FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University's men's basketball team announced they will enter a two week pause.
This news comes after one member had a positive coronavirus test.
"We are extremely disappointed to miss games the next two weeks, especially since we were regaining the confidence and rhythm we played with prior to our last shutdown," said head coach Michael Fly.
The team posted the announcement to Twitter.
Disappointing news, no doubt, but we will put our focus on the upcoming series in the final week of the regular season and into the postseason!#WingsUp 🦅🌴🏀 | #DunkCity pic.twitter.com/5rDhhivDNk
