Governor DeSantis announced while in Hialeah that CVS and the Navarro Discount Pharmacy will now also be able to administer vaccines.

“I’m pleased to join CVS Health today to announce 81 additional COVID-19 vaccination sites across our state, including 67 in Miami-Dade County,” said Governor DeSantis. “These sites at select CVS Health locations will build on the progress we’ve made at existing retail sites and provide greater access to the vaccine in Florida’s communities. We look forward to the success of this partnership and will continue working to expand vaccine availability to Floridians.”

One CVS location in Hendry and one CVS location in Collier County will carry the vaccine.

Patients must register in advance at CVS.com or through the CVS Pharmacy app, and people without online access can contact CVS customer service: (800) 746-7287.

Walk-in vaccinations without an appointment will not be provided.

Those who are eligible can go to the website as soon as Wednesday to schedule a vaccine.

According to CVS when making your appointment for a first dose you will automatically be prompted to make an appointment for the second dose.
