NAPLES, Fla — The NCH Healthcare System received the Moderna vaccine and began administering it to COVID-19 frontline staff on Wednesday.
It's happened at NCH Baker Hospital.
NCH says the vaccinations were the first vaccine shots administered at NCH.
They also say it also was some of the first to be given to citizens of Southwest Florida.
The first person to receive the vaccine was Lynda Pike a Respiratory Therapist.
Dr. David Linder, Chief Medical Director COVID Response Team was the second person.
