FORT MYERS, Fla -- Southwest Floridians still have time to get their picture taken with Santa, while also staying safe amid the pandemic.
The Bass Pro Shops "Santa's Wonderland" experience at Gulf Coast Town Center has been a local favorite for years. Bass Pro Shops has modified the beloved tradition so that children and families can still experience the magic, while staying socially distanced and safe.
The free and contactless experience offers a plexiglass barrier between families and Santa, who is also wearing a face shield. Reservations are required and the line features social distancing markers and temperature checks at the beginning.
Santa's elves also double as a cleaning crew or "Santatizers," cleaning the area in between each family.
The photo is free and the experience is running through Christmas Eve.
