COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — In an effort to keep the community safe and informed, Collier County deputies are driving through Immokalee neighborhoods broadcasting information about Covid-19.
The recordings are in English, Spanish and Creole. The van travels through neighborhoods and commercial areas daily. The message reminds community members to only leave home when necessary, wash their hands frequently, maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet, and limit group interactions.
