LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A criminal couple are sought by investigators after reportedly swiping nearly $4,000 in stolen sunglasses from a Miromar Outlet store last month.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, a black male and female entered the Sunglass Hut store at Miromar Outlets around 5:30 p.m. on New Years Day.  After speaking briefly with a store employee, the two left, only to return three more times within the next 30 minutes.  After their last visit, a store clerk realized that a large amount of sunglasses had been removed from the shelves.

Upon reviewing store surveillance footage, the couple could clearly be seen removing the sunglasses and concealing them in a large bag carried by the female.  In total, 21 pairs of sunglasses, include Versace and Prada brands, were stolen, valued at approximately $3,800.

Anyone with information on the identities and whereabouts of the two suspects are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
