LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A man accused of trying to cover up evidence of a deadly hit-and-run crash in Fort Myers is expected in court Tuesday.
Dan Sinclair was arrested in March - accused of lying about evidence he had that could have implicated a friend in the hit-and-run death of 18-year-old Adam King.
Sinclair is charged with perjury and tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty.
The investigation unfolded as Sinclair was running for Lee County Elections Supervisor.
