CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police were on the scene of a home on SW 2nd Street early Friday morning for what is being called a death investigation.
The home is in the 3500 block of SW 2nd Street, which is off Embers Parkway west of Burnt Store Road.
Police say the victim was a 70-year-old woman that was found unresponsive in the pool by her husband. No foul play is suspected.
Neighbors tell Fox 4 that the house is the newly-built home of a retired couple from Connecticut who have lived there no longer than a month.
