FORT MYERS, Fla. (UPDATE 8:36 P.M.) -- The Lee County Sheriff's Office has identified the two found deceased in The Jamaica Bay neighborhood.
On Sunday, November 13, The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to 27 Villa Court in reference to a death investigation.
Richard Downing and his wife Francis Downing were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A death investigation is now underway after two people died in the Jamaica Bay community.
A Lee County Sheriff's Office deputy told our Breaking News Tracker crew on the scene that they were investigating the deaths of a man and woman.
The Jamaica Bay neighborhood is just south of U.S. 41 & 6 Mile Cypress Parkway. Its website describes the neighborhood as a 'gated community of manufactured homes.'
Deputies were in the neighborhood overnight Sunday into early Monday morning.
