FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- Investigators are looking into a reported drowning on Fort Myers Beach Tuesday morning.
The call came in early Monday around 6:30 a.m. reporting a deadly drowning at a home on Bay Mar Drive.
The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Linda Michilini.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, Linda's husband awoke to find that Linda was not in bed, then discovered her motionless body face-up in the house's pool.
First responders attempted to resuscitate Linda, but were unsuccessful. She was declared dead at 6:55 a.m.
Linda's adult daughter living in the home told investigators she last saw Linda around 1:30 a.m. walking around the home.
Both family members say that Linda had not been complaining about anything, nor did she exhibit signs of depression, though she did receive an undisclosed treatment within the last year.
