NAPLES, Fla. - Collier County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a suspicious incident in North Naples where a 13-year-old girl told deputies she was approached by a man in a white truck as she walked in her neighborhood.
The girl told deputies that she was walking on Cypress Way East Wednesday night when she was approached by a man she did not know. She says he wanted her to get in the truck and give him directions. She declined and kept walking.
She says the man drove a white box truck with commercial letters and an unknown phone number.
Detectives said the man is described as a white male with shoulder length gray hair and a long gray beard.
Deputies will be conducting extra patrols in the area.
